Having joined as a Graduate I appreciate the importance of staff development and actively lead the Graduate and Year out recruitment as well as our internal post qualification training forums.

I joined Baily Garner as the office junior in 1994 and the support and mentoring provided by the practice to hone my technical and leadership skills has been impeccable; such that now as a Project Team Leader and Partner at Baily Garner myself I can pass on these skills to develop, guide and support a new generation of construction professionals.

Along with project work I am also keen to develop and support the next generation of architects and designers and through our multidisciplinary approach also assist development within the other disciplines within the company.

Now as a Chartered Building Surveyor and Associate Partner, I strongly believe and advocate the benefits of apprenticeship programmes and I am able to impart my experience to ensure we continuously improve and develop not only our ways of working, but our staff. Through my development within the practice I have been involved in a multitude of challenging and exciting projects in a variety of sectors, including Residential, Commercial and Education, including both refurbishment and new build projects.
