Rob Ireland

As a chartered building surveyor and qualified asset manager, Rob has developed a strong interest in enhancing building performance and improving the built environment as a place to live. Rob is experienced in all aspects of building surveying projects including refurbishment, estate regeneration and cyclical repair programmes and during his time at Baily Garner, he has worked across a wide range of inter-disciplinary projects. He is now responsible for developing our work in the blue light sector, having delivered a number of successful projects for the Metropolitan Police and London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA).

Rob has developed BIM process and procedures within Baily Garner, with a focus on their implementation for project delivery. Through his experience, he is able to provide and apply wider lessons learnt from the industry on how BIM can support asset management strategies for client’s property portfolios. He has also written for the RICS Built Environment Journal on the subject.

Rob’s role on the RICS London Regional Board and as an APC Supervisor/Counsellor at Baily Garner allows him to actively promote our profession within the industry.
