Rob Tyler

Rob joined Baily Garner as a school leaver in 2010 and has developed a broad range of skills and qualities through a supported and structured training programme.

Now a chartered building surveyor and associate partner with over 10 years’ experience, Rob has developed a detailed understanding of the education sector and is responsible for our work in this sector across the business. This includes both project delivery and a strategic role in working alongside our clients to manage their estates as well as accessing various funding streams such as Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) and Selective School Expansion Fund (SSEF).

Rob’s wider role in the education sector includes providing advice on strategic planning, improvement, and development of school estates across local authority schools, single academy trust, multi-academy trusts, and further/higher education establishments.

Typical commissions include design and delivery of refurbishment projects or elemental replacement, feasibility studies, condition survey programmes, new build schemes and extension of existing facilities.
