We understand our role in the community and are always looking for ways to contribute. We have serious fundraising commitment, whether it be baking cakes to raise money for MacMillan’s Cancer Research, or scaling the three peaks of Yorkshire to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and The Dame Ellen McArthur Cancer Trust. In our 40th year we will also be committing ourselves to raise money for the Prince’s Trust, a charity that chimes very well with our desire to help young people get a better start. Indeed, we pride ourselves on the number of local people we employ and the good relationships we have with schools, universities and colleges that enable us to inform and take on young people as apprentices, on internships, as sponsored students or employees studying on day release. We also think of ourselves as a forward thinking, environmentally friendly practice and donate our old computers to an organisation “Computer Aid International” who distribute them in the third world communities.
